Therefore, it looks like the Microsoft Office installation program patches the Apple print dialog in a way which interferes with all other applications. However, the “Xerox Features” are showing properly in the latest version of Microsoft Office 365 applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. I also have an HP LaserJet 3052 printer, and the problem is the same: the “Printer Features” option appears in the pull-down menu and does not give access to HP options. The driver latest version is 5.6.0, dated July 26, 2020. It's working fine at one location, but not at all at another location (iPads cannot see the printer). Both the Mac and all of the iPads are connected to the same WLAN. The printer is directly connected to a Mac running Printopia. I tried different versions of the Xerox print driver, including the most recent one and various versions from 2015 to now, without success. We are trying to share a printer for use by iPad users. The problem is observed on two different computers: a MacBook running Mac OS 10.13 (High Sierra) and an iMac running Mac OS 10.14 (Mojave). All I can see in the pull-down menu is a generic option called "Printer Features”, which does not properly give access to Xerox options. It is not showing in Safari, Preview, Pages nor TextEdit. “Xerox Features” not showing in print dialog "Xerox Features" are not showing in the print dialog pull-down menu (the one just below “Pages: From: to:”). I have come to the end of my tether with Monterey and I will try to downgrade to Catalina, but any advice is welcome I installad it and it seemed to work with a test print, but soon after that the printer seems to be offline while all other computers seem to work fine with it. The samsung only works via USB, and the HP does not work at all.Īs this is my work laptop and I need the be able to print, I went out and bought a Brother HL-1210W which is supposed to be compatible with Monterey. I soon realised that the HP 107W is not supported by Monterey, neither is wireless setup of the Samsung as the relevant software is incompatible. I tried deleting and reinstalling, resetting the printer settings on the mac, in short, everything that has been described on the internet. immediately after the update all the printers were viewed as offline, while at the same time a Windows 10 laptop on the same network works fine. Monterey update completely screwed up wireless printing for my MacBook Air I have a 2017 13-inch Macbook Air which was updated to Monterey from Catalina.Īfter the update I have been unable to resume normal printing.
